What is the approximate number of sites that can be hosted on the server?

There is a server on unihost: KVM VPS 3 Cores (10.2 GHz), 1.7 RAM, 100GB RAID 1.
At the moment, 3 sites are spinning, LA in a simple minimum, but when work with disks starts, it rises more than 5. I want to know how many sites this server will pull. Currently using nginx+php5-fpm

You can "place" no more than 100 GB sites :)
In terms of load - it all depends on how many interesting things your scripts do and how many visitors you will have.

I think I will not be much mistaken if I say that there is no direct correlation between the number of sites and the load on the server. You can place as many as will fit on the disk and LA in idle time will still be at a minimum, and under load it will rise high.

1 site with 1000 simultaneous visitors gives an approximately comparable load with 100 sites with 10 visitors each, and if the traffic is 1 person per hour, then 1000 sites will go :)
