What is the advantage of OSX over Windows for a programmer?

I know that there is Xcode, in which you can write in Swift and Objective-C, while working with them is problematic on Windows. But as far as I know, they are most suitable for programs under OSX and iOS. What about other languages like C++ or Java? They are also supported by Xcode, but when compared with the IDE on Windows, Visual Studio for example and Eclipse, respectively, who wins?
And what other benefits does OSX have for the programmer?
I'm just choosing between a laptop on OSX and a laptop on Windows, which will be more powerful and cheaper.

For C ++, as far as I know, OS X does not have a fairly complete analogue of Visual Studio. For Java, of course, there is Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA.
The advantages of OS X for me personally (for about 3 years as the main system at home):
- More or less normal console, because. Unix.
- From the top point, all the ensuing consequences - console utilities out of the box, Homebrew, etc.
- The software looks very nice, in terms of design and UX, Apple's operating system is unrivaled, IMHO.
- There is a very useful and high-quality software that increases the speed of work (Alfred, Dash, 1password, for example).
- I have never had serious problems with the system
. Disadvantages:
- There is no normal MS Office (for me this is a problem)
- Few games
Well, Apple laptops look great.

Available for iOS development. If you want to code for iOS - without a doubt MacBook, if C-like, Java, Python - then Windows, but for Python, I would choose Linux.

Nothing, anyway, 90% of the software is written for Windows.

In terms of ergonomics for a programmer (he doesn’t care about how his software will be sold and implemented, but how easy and convenient the tools are), I can assume that the poppy is not bad. In terms of documentation, I don’t know anything about the poppy. In terms of architectural beauty, I mean, Unix-like ones, including Linux and MacOS, are probably prettier than Windows. In terms of career prospects - well, all kinds of programmers are needed, all kinds are important.
You would have asked the question more precisely, those who had already participated would have answered more precisely.

Nothing, although there is an interesting article here why Windows is better than OS X
