What is required to consider an IBM PC compatible machine?
What, besides a processor of the appropriate architecture, is required in order to be able to say that this computer is IBM PC compatible?
For example, some ASUS smartphones have x86-compatible Intel processors, but these devices cannot be said to be IBM PC compatible computers.
