What will hackers get for hacking a game or a prog?
Why are they hacking games? For pirates? For pleasure?

Hacking (or unauthorized modification) of programs falls under Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The right holder may also demand through the court compensation for the damage caused to him.
In practice, no one cares about this; cases with a significant amount of damage reach criminal cases.

If they get caught in the Russian Federation - there will be Criminal Code 272 Until they catch it - nothing :)
Everything is different. Some - for the money - gave them an order, they work. Some are just for ideological reasons. Or they are having fun.
