What is needed to start ios from devices?

Hello, I decided to develop in the field of ios development, if everything is clear with knowledge (what to learn, where to get it, how to google), then the question is with devices.
1) will I be limited to 6 iphones at first and is it possible to receive freelance orders without new devices in the future. (The difficulty of finding a customer is a separate issue, a purely technical part) and adapt the application for new devices through emulators.
2) how unstable will the hackintosh be, how often will it break by itself?

1) It is not necessary (although this is good) to debug on real hardware. You can also use emulation. For me, so - there are still a lot of iPhone 5s on hand. And their owners are quite solvent.
2) Hackintosh is capricious in terms of initial installation.
Then - it does not break somehow so very often.

1. Yes, it will, but not immediately. while 6ka receives updates - you can live. There is no emulator in nature, but there is a simulator, and that is another story. If you are developing something more complex than a calculator, then the device is necessary.
2. According to rumors, it breaks down quite often. I would not recommend.
