What is it when you can copy from a laser disc, but you can’t lose it?
Windows 8.1
Files are copied from the disc, but movies of different formats cannot be played. The computer hangs. copied files can be played, all codecs are available.
Windows 7 doesn't have these problems.

Maybe there is not enough speed due to a damaged surface? Is the copy speed good?
