What is better to use to transfer money from the USA to Russia?

Hey! I have a customer in the USA. He offered me to pay for the work through transferWise.
Tell me, is this a normal way to transfer or take the usual payPal?
He said that he translated (yesterday), they should come the day after tomorrow, but there is no information in his personal account.
Share the experience of who accepted payments through this system.

Hello, Paypal is great, it can be linked to a bank account (ruble). Dollars into rubles are converted at the Paypal rate, money from Paypal comes to the current account in a couple of days.

It is better to check the conditions on the sites.
PayPal will have a commission for converting from USD to RUB - 3.5% or even 4% (you can avoid it if the main currency is USD and connect a foreign currency account - you need to check the possibility, since different countries have different ways). Plus there will be a Transaction Fee, most likely 0.30 USD. The numbers need to be double-checked, but if I was wrong, then not by much.
In TransferWise, the conditions vary by country and you just need to "simulate" sending in order for their rhyme to show how much it will cost. That calculator that on the first page considers only the conversion and the commission for the conversion. For example, I was sending AUD to UAH. The rhyme showed 2%, but in fact (in the course of the "master") received all 7%.
Of course, these commissions will be at your expense.
