What is better to take to build a PC, 1 HDD for 1T and 1 SSD for 500 GB OR 2 SSDs for 500 GB and 960 GB?

Hi all. Do you think that due to such a rapid growth in the popularity of SSD drives, is it worth it now to build a home PC that will be used not as a professional machine for work, but only as a home PC for games, programming and sometimes editing small videos - HDD drive for 1- 2 terabytes together with an SSD, or is it still better not to add a lot and buy 2 SSDs at once with a TOTAL size of somewhere around 1.5-2 terabytes?

HDD disk 1-2 terabytes together with SSD
Rational decision.
SSD for hot data, HDD for cold data.
buy immediately 2 SSD TOTAL size somewhere around 1.5-2 terabytes
Extremely stupid decision.
In the voiced scenario for using hot data, 1.5-2 terabytes is clearly not enough. And using an SSD as cold data storage is far from the best idea.

I advise you to take SSD + HDD. Install Windows on the SSD, as well as all your main video editing programs, for example. And on hard to store large volumes of video and other files.

Depends on the purpose of the build.
If you plan to simply store large amounts of data (movies, games, etc.), then it makes sense to take an HDD + SSD, or a hybrid SDHDD - it will give a noticeable speed boost when re-accessing cached data.
If you constantly need to shovel a large amount of data (for example, a database), then it is better to take an SSD.

I have 2 ssds and 1 hard. On Samsung is Windows, on Chinese toys, on hard torrents and backups. As for me, the ideal option is with hard on ter two and ssd for Windows and games. For example, what's the point of downloading movies and game installers to ssd if it has little memory and resource? Let someone else do the work.)
