Portfolio

What is better for a portfolio: ideal, but typical and simple, or original, but from oneself and most likely a crutch project in some places?

I'm doing a project in react for a portfolio.

spoiler
There is a routing (including private), sank. Loading all information from json file without server. There is verification. I plan to connect the finished library with dragondrop.

Is there a high probability of being invited to an interview with such a portfolio (if there are minor flaws)?
Main question.
There are typical simple portfolio works on the Internet. But I decided to do it myself.
Now I have done my verification.
And a thought came to my mind.
Mb in vain I reinvent the wheel and it is more correct (in terms of employment success) to peep from different ready-made options and assemble the project?
Especially interesting is the opinion of seniors who participated in the selection of juniors.
And the third question
Is it worth using saga and redux forms where it is not advisable to use them (in a simple project), just to show that I have mastered them?

My opinion.
Answer to the first question:
The number of "flaws" depends on the experience. If you are a Junior, then small and even medium errors are acceptable. The main thing here is the desire to learn. Several different projects is a big plus.
Answer to the second question:
Since you are a Junior you should use possible solutions from different sources, but also be able to write something from scratch.
I can't help you answer question 3.

A portfolio is good, understanding that a client can be different is priceless.

I'm sorry, I'm sincere, I'll be honest - I did not read your entire paragraph. But I can say in my opinion that it is better to collect the most different and unique projects in the portfolio to show what a good Swiss knife you are, and not projects on the bootstrap from the manuals.

Should I use saga and form redux where it is not appropriate to use them (in a simple project), just to show that I have mastered them?

It is worth showing that you know them, but at the same time it is worth understanding when they should be used and when not, and if they are made only to demonstrate your skills, write about it in the project description.
