What is better for a beginner to learn?

What is the best direction to move in? I have been actively programming for only a year, but I would like to decide in advance: where to move, what is in demand now. Thanks

You need to reach into your subconscious and figure out what you want.
Maybe to be easy? If it’s difficult, then immediately quit and look for something simpler.
Maybe it's difficult? Large, unsupportable projects.
Maybe to be interesting? Each time a new task, not like the old one.
Maybe just money? And it doesn't matter what you do.
Maybe something else?
What?

Well, what can I say?
If you don’t want to get involved with the front at all, then any language for the back (technical part of the site):
Java, Python, Ruby, JS, Haskell, whatever. See what tasks.
If there is a desire to still sometimes poke the front with a stick, then you can choose JS for the front and back, very convenient.
What is needed globally:
The question is that first for the back it would be necessary to understand http, to understand programming in general (basics).
Cycles, conditions, threading, all sorts of tinsel about every language. Find a stack for yourself from the zoo of frameworks. Understand at least roughly how sql and the database work in general, the difference between sql and nosql.
What is the background after a year of study? A year is quite a lot.
