What is better a huge article or divided into several parts?

It is worth choosing to write articles for the site either in a large volume, or divide them into semantic sections (you can say subsections) and upload them as separate ones. Then relink them.
What will have the best impact on the promotion of the site in your opinion?

Is it better to chop food finely or chop coarsely?
It all depends on what kind of site, what kind of articles, how they are designed, what kind of target audience.

None of the above.
The purpose of the article is to convey the meaning set forth in it.
If the content is very complex, then people will not benefit from such a site and will not follow the links in the search engine.
Try to make content that is human-friendly first.
A good example is component reviews (appearance, test bench, results, etc.) when they write one big one with switchable subsections at the bottom of the current subsection.
That is, as if the article is one, and it has several parts (5-7 on average) and each has its own semantic name.

As written above, proceed from the subject of your site and its readers. If you have a news portal about everything in the world that you flip through during snacks, then I don’t think you need huge articles. If you have a website of some specialized, professional subject, then of course you can post your encyclopedic works there

In my opinion, from the point of view of SEO, it is better to make articles a little larger than those of competitors.

It is definitely better to publish the text in small information blocks, well-designed and well-read by people)
