What is better for a student programmer, laptop or PC? How often will it have to be worn in pairs?

PC is cheaper.
Larger screen - work much more comfortably.
I don't know why to carry a laptop for couples.

Of course, a laptop, not just for couples, but also for work or an interview, in a bar / coworking with friends. Ideally a light 13 inch laptop. A friend of mine had a 17 inch Dell gaming laptop which by itself weighed around 7-8kg. So for half a year he planted his back because of such severity, from work to home.

Definitely a laptop - you can work on it both at home and at the university. Plus all sorts of brainstorms during the sessions, sharing information, writing/editing something on the knee before handing it over to the teacher :)
