What is a good method for collecting email addresses?

Greetings!
We want to collect email addresses from site visitors for subsequent distribution (news, promotions, etc.). I know that on all sorts of pop-ups that pop up when entering the site, people are not very willing to leave their addresses. Even if they offer a discount or download some material for free.
Is there any proven method to interest the visitor?

After a lot of experimentation, we realized that all these coupons and discounts are of no value to most visitors. But! The value appears if you add an element of the game) We tried this magictab.ru service , but somehow there are too many gestures for the buyer. Now, as a test, we put the koleso.im widget . The conversion to subscribers has increased significantly. Check it out, it might work for you too

Popups are in any case more effective than static forms on the site.
Static forms can be more effective than pop-ups if the form is located on landing pages and not on the site.
above, poison67 gave a link to a good implementation of pop-ups - koleso.im
The introduction of elements of intrigue into interaction with users is now in trend.

You can set up the collection of a subscriber base through SumoMe (there is a / b testing of forms, you do design, many types of pop-ups). Also what are the methods of collecting email: https://roman.ua/internet-marketing/gde-sobirat-ko...

With pleasure I always leave the address on the gmyl :) which I never read, although sometimes I do "select all -> delete". Whence such confidence, what all specified addresses are read by someone? Now people have not only two, but three or four boxes, they leave them without problems, but they never read ...
