The less bells and whistles (such as support for IP cameras, screen capture, sound recording, multichannel, etc.) the better - to understand less, you need to stupidly record a good picture from a USB webcam. For posterity, I will share: the best thing I found myself is WebcamXP . I looked at several different programs, only with this one I quickly solved the problem without problems and without half a liter. The only thing is that I didn’t find where it’s normal to configure the compression settings, but in general it’s a normal program (although it’s far from ideal, as I imagine it).
