What is a good console editor for JS/HTML code?

As a result, I came to the conclusion that I began to edit simple JS / HTML / CSS files in the nano editor from the console.
Why? It's faster, more convenient. No need to switch to other windows.
Maybe there is something more advanced for developers? Recommend.
I write code mostly in JS/HTML.

vim + plugins In general, your arguments are strange ... set up a watcher, a browser with livereload on a second monitor, and you will only need to switch to work with the browser debugger ...
