Asking for root password Linux Ubuntu?

Guys what to do. When installing additional software or changing the operating system settings, I get this message (Screenshot). I don't have a password, and I didn't put it anywhere :(82764a2996514594a386600c831db2db.png

And why did you decide that it asks for the root password? In my opinion, she is trying to do sudo and asks for your own password :)

In Ubuntu, operations on behalf of the superuser must be done through sudo

The password requested is your password that you enter when you log in.

Basic user authentication, well, it can’t be that you don’t have a password, remember it and write down System
settings - accounts - and see what we have there (usually your password is there)
