What installation manuals should I look for if I have Linux Mint?

Hello. I decided to install Mint as a working system. According to DistroWatch it is based on Debian and Ubuntu (LTS).

Tell me, what manuals for installing software / tools should I focus on? Like for Debian or like for Ubuntu?

A similar question on googling problems: look for a solution for Ubuntu or for Debian? :)

PS Yes, you can google "how to install python linux mint" but the selection for "how to ... ubuntu" will be clearly higher.
