What initial data is needed before starting network planning?

Before you start planning your company's network infrastructure, you need to collect some initial data. The first thing that comes to mind:
1) The current number of employees in the organization
2) The number of employees in the future
3) The plan of the building / premises of the organization
4) The presence of branches
5) The structure of the organization (users, accounting, administration, etc.)
6) Services used in the organization
Colleagues, in your opinion, what data still needs to be collected before starting the network design? Maybe there are some regulations?

The number of employees is not the number of computerized workplaces.
The implementation of telephony also matters, it can be analog, it can be IP.
Security technologies, ACS and cameras.
When planning a building, distances and electrification must be taken into account. As well as temperature and humidity conditions.
Availability of regulatory requirements.
The quality of power supply and air conditioning.
Possibility of placement of the equipment taking into account noise.
Wall materials.

For sockets, from experience, in the simplest version of a small building. If these are not specialized premises / workplaces, but ordinary "office" points, then double RJ-45 sockets every 2 meters, for 4 pairs of cat5e. The main thing is that gigabit is pulled everywhere. Further - clear documentation in the schedule and there will be happiness.
