What information is missing for entrepreneurs who decide to open an online store?
Hello!
During the discussion of my question, the idea was put forward to conduct marketing research for start-up entrepreneurs who organize online stores! Perhaps you will also contribute to the question, it is here !
Well, now, my own to the current question:
I am currently preparing a website to promote this service, but the question arose of what exactly to offer, what information would be useful to entrepreneurs, for which they would be willing to pay, provided that they work within the framework of strictly limited budget!
I see it this way:
- Definition of target audience
- Selection of suppliers / contractors
- Promotion channels / market. strategy
- Analysis of payment acceptance systems.
Many thanks to everyone who participates in the discussion!

Information in bulk, none of the above is needed for money.
We need cheap hands and money.
Sub-item for "Promotion channels/market strategy":
How to get visitors to a young and unknown site without reviews to make a purchase?
Information that the online store should no longer be opened. And this is because he was late for 5 years, and by the standards of the United States - for 35 years.
And now you need services and customer care, and what kind of store do you have - even send goods by email.
And the next stage is, as Dima Novoseltsev said, these are agents. A good friend who knows where to buy at the best price, because he is a good friend not only for you, but also for the company.
And while you're fighting competitive warfare, smart people are having dinners together, sharing ideas, and corefaning to get prepared for the next stage.
We need performers who f**k and don't ask too many questions. And we also need a scheme in which the client easily parted with the money, but if something unforeseen happens, he understands that getting it back is such a bureaucratic hemorrhoid that it’s better not to bother. All within the law, of course.
And of course you need money, stupidly loot.
Now I myself am in the process of creating an IM, on the one hand, and on the other, I have experience in marketing research. There is something to add:
1. The analysis of payment acceptance systems is not very relevant. Everything is standard - the more opportunities, the better for buyers
2. Identification of competitors, defining a niche (detuning), creating a USP
3. Studying competitors' websites and their marketing to collect interesting ideas
4. Delivery service conditions acceptable to the target audience (price, terms, service)
