What if the keyboard shortcuts don't overlap in linux?
I use linux mint cinnamon , I set myself the usual ctrl+shift language switch, but in this case ctrl+shift+T new tab in the terminal and ctrl+shift+print scr and everything else where there is ctrl+shift+
How to be? I don't want to give up ctrl+shift to change language

This option helped me:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nrbrtx/xorg-hotkeys
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo reboot
After that, the shortcuts work correctly.
Switching the language is better to hang on CapsLock.
First, it's one key.
secondly, it is practically not needed / used,
and if necessary, this mode can be turned on / off using Shift + CapsLock
PS
I used to use Ctrl + Shift myself, but for 2 years I have been using CapsLock
very conveniently
