What hardware to buy for a home network?
Already asked this question - I'm doing the initial repair. What to do with the Internet (sockets, router)? It's time to buy iron and I want to be 100 percent sure of it. They brought me category 6 cables from TVs, sockets to the cabinet. There it is planned to locate the router. There are about 8 RJ-45 connectors sticking out. From the shield, the wire has also already been brought of the same category to the cabinet. Internet will be Beeline L2TP (tariff 365+ Mbps). Movies will be constantly downloaded and watched over the network. Also, a server for home needs will fit in the closet. Wi-Fi point will be in one of the sockets.
From what I have chosen at the moment:
Access point - market.yandex.ru/model-spec.xml?modelid=10820012&h... (simultaneous operation in two bands, ac, poe)
Router -routerboard.com/RB1100AHx2 (13 gigabit ports, 2 GB RAM, VPN support)
* Specified in brackets what is required from the equipment.
The access point will also fumble data from the server. Will be powered by POE. By the way, the selected router has a characteristic - PoE in - I don’t understand what it means. Tell me if this equipment will work normally with L2TP Beeline and in general what can you advise. Thanks in advance!

"PoE in" means that the router itself can be powered by PoE, which is also indicated in the User Guide (Power jack: 12-24VDC; PoE on Ether13: 12-24VDC). There is L2TP support in RouterOS, so the router must work with L2TP Beeline (I can’t say for sure - I don’t use either Mikrtotiks or Beeline).
I can say one thing about the choice of equipment: an excellent choice. If I were not a pfSense user on x86 hardware, I would use Mikrotiks, which solve their task perfectly. Colleagues from "Nienschanz Home" at one time used them as active equipment in their networks.
