Uninterruptable power source

What hardware is needed to remotely turn off / turn on the router after it freezes?

There is a second router at home, which periodically freezes completely. The only option is to manually turn off and turn on the power. I wanted to make a script on one of the servers (linux) to send ping to the problematic router and, if it does not respond, then somehow restart it. Another option is to catch pings from the router itself and if it doesn't send pings within a few intervals then restart it.
Of the devices found on the Internet, only devices like NET 9258. I would like to know about analogues of this, since I did not find other options.
I also suspect that there are UPSs that can programmatically control their sockets and send them a request to turn the power on / off. I would be happy with recommendations if there is information about them (so that they can still work with sockets through the API).
Interested in a solution for the home, preferably without industrial switches. There is an Eaton 5E 850i, but I could not find any control API for it.
Thanks,
Dmitry

Faced - routers are buggy due to overheating.
Possible solutions:
1. Just open the case and leave it to work like this
2. Glue the heatsink onto the chip
3. Drill holes in the case, fix the fan.
And again, a typical reason is puffy or dried electrolytes. Change for prevention.

Used mobile phone with a wire from the speaker to the power button of the router.

When I was young, I put a router in a box on the roof and I lived there - people were trained to ping and if there was no ping, they rebooted themselves :) but the central nodes that I placed either on water towers or on skyscrapers - it was problematic to climb, therefore I set netpings the first version were terribly buggy :) then it seemed to get better (we soldered almost the entire circuit ourselves) I don’t know how they are now.
