Hello. I deal with the connection diagram in the server room: which patch cord goes where. All patches are like patches - from the patch panel to the switch. But one patch panel is connected to another. That is, the patch cord from port 13 of patch panel 1 goes to port 22 of patch panel 2. The ports are embroidered, I checked it from the back. Is this how it should be, or is it a greeting from my indignant predecessor and should be urgently pulled out? Or is it hello, but it is leveled by the work of switches (there are d-link dgs-1210-52) and you can score? Google stubbornly offers to buy something for all my requests, and there is no one else to ask in the office.

Most likely this connection of two computers directly. However, if there is a certain router/switch on the other side, everything becomes a little more complicated.
