What happens when you connect one patch panel to another?
Hello. I deal with the connection diagram in the server room: which patch cord goes where. All patches are like patches - from the patch panel to the switch. But one patch panel is connected to another. That is, the patch cord from port 13 of patch panel 1 goes to port 22 of patch panel 2. The ports are embroidered, I checked it from the back. Is this how it should be, or is it a greeting from my indignant predecessor and should be urgently pulled out? Or is it hello, but it is leveled by the work of switches (there are d-link dgs-1210-52) and you can score? Most likely this connection of two computers directly. However, if there is a certain router/switch on the other side, everything becomes a little more complicated.
