What happens if you connect a Raspberry Pi Zero (without Wi-Fi support) to a router?

Hello. I bought RPi Zero without Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, thought about buying an Ethernet port for it, and wondered what would happen if I connected Raspberry to a TP-LINK router? If not difficult, help with the task. Thank you for your attention.

Raspberry by definition is a slow device, the only advantage of such pieces of iron is compactness and good communication and offers for components (such as a camera module). Everything else, including the price, is bad.
ps Raspberry's network is only via usb, which is not fast, will 20Mbit suit you at best?
