What happens if I copy the website design of a popular online store?

What happens if I copy the website design of a popular online store, while simply changing the logo to my own and posting my products.
And the whole design and buttons will be like theirs. But the code will not be taken from them, but will be written from scratch. Will they be able to show something for the buttons or the structure of the design and so on? Thanks

No, because with this approach, your site will not become popular, and they will not even know about it.

I'm looking at the mcdonalds website. Imagine what will happen if you remove the logo and products. The first thought - what are you going to copy there ?! I think that they will not show it, but mainly because of the fact that the site is as simple as 2 kopecks.

What happens if I copy the design of the DNS shop website, while simply changing the logo to my own and posting my products.
And the whole design and buttons will be like theirs. But the code will not be taken from them, but will be written from scratch. Will they be able to show something for the buttons or the structure of the design and so on? Thanks

Maybe they can.
Only for this they will need to bother.
And they don’t give a damn about you from the big bell tower, in the sense - to poop.
Now, if someone of principle comes across and decides to get confused, then there will be a court and an examination.
In general, I see no reason to copy DNS, there is nothing original on their site. There are thousands of such stores.
You will face a bunch of technical difficulties in the implementation.
You will have your own, perhaps the best ideas.
The maximum that you can take on the DNS site is the starting point.
And they don't get shot for it.
Promote a site != create a site.
With a high probability, your site will be somewhere in the wilds of 10+ pages in the search results and will not interest anyone at all.
But if the project develops well, then, hypothetically, you are already becoming an interesting object for prosecution, yes.

You need to invent your own, not copy.

Maybe they can, especially if (if we take the same DNS) you, for example, decide to trade with rubber women, having a design similar to DNS :)
Everything will be decided by several factors - the thickness of the store that you copied, the thickness of your store, desire (and skill) of that store to fool around about this - filing a lawsuit is still not a love letter to write.
Formally, they can.
