What happened to the archive (debian) :'(

There is a compact server, it has Debian 7.5 installed and an external hard drive is connected to it and mounted (/mnt/hdd). There was a need to unpack the archive, which weighs 10 GB. (with a large number of files). But after the "unzip Archive.zip" command, the file became 10 kb in size. and I lost important files.
How to recover files and what happened to them?

Have you tried unzipping the new file? There are suspicions that there is a text document with ransom demands;)
