What folder do the scripts on GitHub take from, from dist or src?

Fellow developers, from which folder do they always take scripts from GitHub from the “dist” or “src” folder?
Thank you!

src is short for source, i.e. sources. This folder should contain the parsed files.
dist (target/build, etc.) is the destination folder for built scripts, so take it from here.

In general, the question is not in that steppe.
It all depends on what to use: what language, what package manager.
usually so.
But you can register it from anywhere, for the end user it does not matter if it is an independent component / library that is connected to the assembler / autoloader.
Packages are loaded automatically according to the package manager config, no one writes the full paths with their hands.
In general, without a specific indication of the language / package manager, this question does not make sense.
This issue has nothing to do with Github. Github is just a repository, which can be anything, and is not tied to the language and source code.
