What firmware and version to choose for an unnamed tablet?
The point is this. There is an Irbis TZ17 tablet, bought, as it usually happens, for my mother, and which is not very suitable for its native firmware - namely, it starts showing ads out of the box, and it is not clear what to do with it. If this is important, then I tried to download the firmware from the manufacturer's website and install it again - the result is the same, advertising is shown. So, in connection with this annoying problem, two decisions were made - a letter was written in support of the manufacturer and it was also decided to change the firmware to some custom one.
And then the main question arose - what kind of firmware and its version to choose? I started looking towards CyanogenMod, but as it turned out, it is released only for the final list of devices, in which, for obvious reasons, there is no tablet under discussion. Advise what to choose from the rest of the variety and what you can most likely successfully flash without corrupting the device.
Thanks in advance!
