What extensions exist for highlighting text directly in the browser?

Hello.
I sometimes read texts on websites. And I sometimes need to select pieces of text on these sites. It's like I'm highlighting text with a text highlighter.
At the same time, I would like the text selection to be preserved. That is, so that the next time you access the web page, you can again look at the previously made text selections.
What extensions (or maybe programs) exist for highlighting text on sites?
PS I use the Firefox browser, but for the sake of such an extension I can use another browser.
PPS The ability to comment on selections would also be useful, but not necessary.

This extension I liked the most:
Diigo Web Collector – Capture and Annotate
It is suitable for Google Chrome, Yandex browser, Opera
And this extension works on FireFox:

There is also an article about similar extensions:

I use the Firefox browser, but for the sake of such an extension I can use another browser.
Built into Microsoft Edge
There, in order to save a note, it seems that you need to save it to a third-party additional OneNote program
This is also a built-in Windows 10 application (and also included with MS Office).

https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/simple... I've been using it for a couple of years, I'm happy with it. I save in mht. But unfortunately I can’t give advice on using the address allocated for re-viewing on the Internet.
