What equipment for a server cabinet is better to use and equip a server room?

A project is starting soon and a server is required, as an option I am considering a 19-inch server cabinet.
Scheme of work: server, access to which is only from the local network (20-25 machines).
What is the best equipment to use? On the experience of the first cabinet - I would like to consult.
AP1: Interested in brands, hardware itself and its purpose.
AP2: There will also be a separate server room. Advise how and what to plan?

Choose a cabinet with slatted front and rear doors 8, and preferably 16 units high (depending on plans for future expansion). The cabinet must have a space between the door and the end of the racks for the installation of vertical cable managers.
Be sure to put in the closet:

  • patch panel for 24 ports, to which you need to bring all client outlets
  • PDU , for 6-8 outlets or a suitable UPS, always in a rack case, this is important
  • Switch. If you want a high price, take the Cisco 2960S
  • Server to taste, but always in a rack version, and not in a pisyukov case
  • Monitoring tools - optional
  • Shelf with fans - most likely not needed, since both the switch, the server, and the UPS
in the correct cases blow hot air back into the rear door grille
  • Cable organizers - vertical and horizontal, as required, usually two horizontal and one vertical

How to mount everything:
With this organization, the heaviest devices - the server and the UPS - are at the bottom, adding rollover stability to the cabinet, and there is room for network expansion.
