What does a designer need to know about mobile app design?

Hello! Draws on the design of mobile applications. Web is a little bit boring. What do you need to know first of all for a high-quality mobile application design? Design guides from apple & google? If there are iOS developers here, can you tell me what you require from a designer?

Thinking a lot. Think not about the screen on which you draw the application, but about the device on which the application will work, and the people who will work with the application. Everything, in general, as in the web, only much stricter. 10 times more attention to the quality of graphics (100% pixel perfect), 20 times more attention to the information architecture of the application (there is no place for navigation on the screen with a lot of submenus), 30 times more attention to interface solutions (gestures and icons are very cool, but usually very incomprehensible).
