What do you need to help woocommerce development?

Hello. I decided to work on an open-source Woocommerce project for the sake of experience and entertainment. Before this experience was not. I’m interested in such a question, before starting work, I need to completely rewrite the entire plugin and understand what, how it works, what file it is in, etc., do I understand correctly?

Well, it's all easy. You find their github , look, read the code, issue, study the pull requests.
You read their development requirements , they are also actively developing the REST API , you will need help there.
In short, I read everything, imbued with the style of WordPress coding and forward to the request pool ;-)

You have an extreme way of entertainment. We usually do pull requests if we find a bug. She bothers us. Fixed. Sent a pull request.
But this means that we already know the plugin and how it works, as we work, we studied its source code far and wide.
And so to have fun - it's amazing. If you manage to make some kind of contribution - please send me a link to finish off my picture of the world :)

Put it on your host with xdebug, and try to do something.
Parse the functions from phpxref to get a map of the functions and their requests.
If you want to participate in the development - as you are told - on github, good hands are always needed there, and if a head shows up to them, then maybe they will invite you to the team.
