How to make pull requests in Open Source?
I read a couple of articles on this topic, everywhere they recommended creating a new branch, pushing it to my version (well, the one that turned out when I fork) and making a Pull request through the github interface, where to choose to choose merge branches my_branch and master in the main repository . Last time he did so, Pr was not accepted, but they did not answer anything either. Maybe it was necessary to rebase my_branch and master on your computer, push it to your github and select merge (myName/master , mainRep/master) ? Moreover, I don’t understand at all why create a branch for the sake of a minor change.
