What do you need to connect optics?
Input data : I live outside the city, they threw a fiber optic cable to the house. Never dealt with optics. You need to connect a single house, 100 Mbps - for the eyes.
Question : what is needed to “splice” optics and twisted pair? Which converter to choose? Will fiber optics need to be spliced, and if so, how? What will be the asking price? What will be the problems and pitfalls?

How do you get the cable?
If it already ends with an optical connector(s) , then you can immediately plug it into the receiving equipment.
If it is connected to an optical cross , then you will also need to buy an optical cord with the right connector and the right length .
If the wire is just brought into your house and folded into a ring, then you need to boil it. The cost is 1000 - 1500 rubles.
You also need to find out what technology the provider gives you the Internet.
If xPON, you need to buy an ONT terminal .
If Ethernet, then you need to find out from the provider how it transmits the signal to you (at least the 1000Base-LX, 1000Base-ZX standard?) and buy equipment with an optical interface for these characteristics (media converter, router ...)
You need to check with the provider what type of media converter (for Chinese A or B. for D-Link it is R and T) media converter you need to purchase. Of course, you can also use a router with sfp, but it's more expensive than a media converter + a regular soap box.
As far as I understand your question, you need something like this .
