What do you do if you miss the deadline?

Managerial task - you have a team of narrow-profile developers of 5 people, bass factor = 1. You work in sprints, so the feature must be implemented within 2 weeks. in the middle of the sprint, you realize that the backend with a high degree of probability does not have time to close the story. What are some ways you can speed up development and meet deadlines?

To simplify the question:
I planned to do this in two weeks, but I misjudged. What to do?
The answer in my opinion is obvious:
Apologize, admit a mistake, draw conclusions. Everything else (such as attracting additional resources, introducing night shifts, etc.) is an attempt to cover up your mistake as a manager at the expense of the company.

1) Offer the backender more money for being on time
2) Hire an outsourced backendur

It is extremely rare when the deadlines are really critical. Well, they made a mistake, well, it's okay, the product will be ready a week later - what's the difference? I just work on, and in the end, if I really didn’t have time, the manager becomes aware, and everything is planned for the next sprint.

gentlemen, answerers, and now take the place of the customer, who is often told "cap, we just don't have time to close the sprint", here such/what/what difficulties have been encountered. once they said about "we are not in time", they said twice, three times .... your reaction?
