In order to find out what these codes mean, it is necessary to determine which filter is used in the Tester. There are not many popular filters: almost all use Apache SpamAssassin. SpamAssassin rules are documented in detail (see the (Not)Complete SpamAssassin RulesList ).
The problem is that the specified rules are not in this list, but there are several with similar names, for example, TVD_SPACE_RATIO . This rule means that the ratio of the number of spaces and tabs to the total number of characters is counted. The more spaces, the higher the SPAM Score.
This knowledge will be useful to us after we discover that the TVD_SPACE_ENC_FM_MIME and TVD_SPACE_RATIO_MINFP rules are not in the current version of the documentation on the project website, but are listed inThe list of SpamTitan tests . SpamTitan is based on SpamAssassin and they posted a version of the documentation where these rules are described.
The list says the following:
TVD_SPACE_RATIO_MINFP, this is the same as TVD_SPACE_RATIO.
TVD_SPACE_ENC_FM_MIME is a complex rating that is calculated according to three parameters:
I just received a letter with a score of 1.999 according to the TVD_SPACE_ENC_FM_MIME rule. Nothing special can be seen in the letter except that it has a lot of non-breaking spaces and empty lines in the spirit of .
