I looked after the HP model without OS, but before taking it home, I want to test the equipment right in the store. They advised me to install ubuntu on it from a flash drive, I already made a flash drive. However, on the Internet, I came across articles that HP opposes Ubuntu with all its might and that even for an experienced computer scientist, such an installation can be very hemorrhoids. Hello. Usually Ubuntu is installed on more or less modern computers and laptops without problems. It is only important to correctly create a bootable USB flash drive with the correct partition scheme (MBR or GPT) and the correct architecture, otherwise the installation may not start. The only thing is, once when installing Linux Manjaro on an Acer laptop, my BIOS prohibited the installation, because of which I had to disable BIOS security, but these are trifles. I think everything should go without incident.
