What devices are needed to develop (test) applications?

Gentlemen, can you tell me what set of current devices you need to buy for developing and testing applications (ios and android)?

With iOS, everything is simple, there are only two or three relevant devices: a tablet, a smartphone and a watch. And also a macbook, otherwise you will not be able to assemble the final application.
With Android, everything is complicated, there are "many" devices. I have a couple of smartphones (old and almost new) and a couple of tablets (old and new-dumb - I use it as a photo frame and for tests).
All four devices have different resolutions, different diagonals, different processors. But this drop in the ocean and testing is difficult to call.
On emulators, I check the work on AndroidTV (watches and cars do not interest me), as well as in those resolutions that are more / less than my devices. It also starts up faster on the emulator than on a smartphone, because you don’t need to send the file via wifi (I don’t like debugging by lace).

Under Android: For comfortable work, find yourself a Nexus - there is pure Android. Well, for testing how it looks on different devices ... you can’t buy everything, so use emulators.
