What determines the position of the site in the search results list?

Hello everyone, as the name implies, this question is of interest, does the position of the site depend on how many times different people have switched to it? And if not, what does it depend on, or maybe there are several other factors?

You will never know all the factors and the calculation mechanism until you become the owner of Google and Yandex. There are MANY factors. The main one is the presence of sane content. For some reason, 90% of site owners just forget about this factor. And so Google to help a lot of articles on this topic. ATTENTION. 70 percent of what you find is either crap from SEO agencies or outdated data. There will be content - there will be visitors. This is the main thing.
And the rest... Semantics of the code, presence/absence of alts in images, meta tags, page section loading order, key tags, external link mass and its quality, site age, internal linking, number of external links on the site and much more. otherwise affects the order of issuance of organics.

SEO optimization is dead. Do it qualitatively, if people like it, then the search engines too. Workarounds and witchcraft no longer exist, spend money on advertising and good content. Well, of course, do not forget about internal optimization.
Main rules:
1) Do not catch sanctions (there are many reasons, but most of them are your attempts to deceive the system)
2) Achieve a good Google Pagespeed
3) Catch traffic in social networks, force repost
4) Link the site to all services, Yandex.directory, Google My Business (recommend the site as a normal company with a physical address)
5) Good content to be rewritten, etc. Just score it after yourself

From behavioral factors, breadth of semantics (coverage of all queries), technical optimization - the main thing is to make users happy. Pixel Plus is well written about the basics of self-promotion.

depends on what is actually in the search and what is on the site, if a 100% (long) hit and others don’t have it, you will be in the top, if something is everyday and short, then you can hardly hope to get into the top three in the very first time of work resource. it is important that the search engines see everything that you want to show to others and see it correctly. sometimes it is useful to look at your resource through the eyes of a search engine - the same Google will gladly help you with this.
