What details are needed to connect an arduino to a remote server?

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
I want to try for the sake of interesting to connect the arduino and the web together.
An example is this:
There will be a server with a website and send data from temperature sensors from the arduino to it.
What do you need to buy for this and where is the best place to get it?
It is my task that is to receive data from arduino and send via wifi module to the Internet to the same server with the site, and then parse the data into php :)

If we already have wi-fi, then take which ESP8266 thread https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/ESP8266-ESP12-ESP-1...
And program it already to collect information from sensors and send it.

You can use an Ethernet Shield , or you can ESP8266 - this is a WiFi option.
