What could happen to illustrator files after updating to windows 10?

Illustrator CS6 is licensed, I tried to reinstall it, there are no plugins. Appears in general in a variety of files, regardless of complexity or size. I know how to open a file to save curves, fonts and a picture in general. But all gradients turn into masks, which makes further work with the file much more difficult.
Maybe someone had a similar problem, maybe someone found a way to avoid it? =(

On Windows 10, you need to use Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3! Illustrator CS6 is something incredibly ancient. Or you can roll back to licensed XP.

pushed with the same trouble in the chandelier (CS6). Empirically, I found out that the problem was in one element present in the layout (a symbolic object copied from a file provided by the customer). Moreover, the customer's file is saved and opened without problems, and my file was saved normally, and when opened, it gave exactly the same message.
I did it as follows - I copied part of the layout and created a new file with this part. Saved, closed, reopened. If the file opened without problems, I added another piece) And so on ... I discovered this piece and stupidly drew it myself))
Perhaps symbols from the standard illustrator libraries (buttons, for example), or some specific effect ... It's just to analyze if the search engine did not find anything sensible)
By the way, I discovered another entertaining glitch of the chandelier, which cost me a lot of nerves and a day of work, it was also localized manually - I will describe the sequence of how to catch it (like bad advice): 1) In addition to the chandelier
, Photoshop should also be launched
weighed quite a lot (> 200 mb) and contained many different elements
3) Copy a significant piece of elements (ctrl + C) so that the area is approximately 1000 px
4) Save (ctrl + S) and at the time of saving, while the slider is crawling, switch to photoshop window...
Illustrator freezes tightly and does not respond (tested by waiting at 2 hours).
Can you still in principle try this program as an example, or write me your file, you can send it to a friend, we will help you restore ithttps://www.repairtoolbox.com/ru/illustratorrepair.html Illustrator Repair
