What could cause the game performance to drop?
Hello.
Notebook acer aspire 3 a315-41g-r4fd
Windows
10
Processor AMD Ryzen 3 2200U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.50 GHz
Video cards ATI Radeon 530 Series, ATI AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 3 Graphics
RAM 8 GB
the catalyst control center program where there was a section "switchable graphics application settings", there you could configure the use for high performance.
After I didn’t play games until a certain moment, somewhere at that time there was a reinstallation of Windows.
When I returned to the games I noticed significant lags. The switchable graphics application settings section in the catalyst control center has disappeared and there is no option to set the game to high performance. In windows, in the parameters of the game mode, I set the game to work on the ATI Radeon 530 Series, since it was this card that was used last time during the games.
When you enter the game on this video card, for the first 10-20 seconds everything is perfect without lags, after that a gradual slowdown begins and up to full-fledged lags. The programs show that the computer during the game the load on the video card is zero or by a small percentage of 10-20%. On the other hand, if I use an ATI AMD Radeon (TM) Vega 3 Graphics video card, the game runs smoothly, but at some points there are freezes with slowdowns. Never had this problem before in games.
I don’t know how to return the “switchable graphics application settings” section to the catalyst control center, I initially updated the drivers through the device manager, then I tried the Amd Radeon ™ Software Adrenalin programs And the driver booster did not change anything either.
Please help with this problem.
