What chips are in the USB RS-485 interface converter?
Good afternoon, comrades! I decided to play around with automation systems at my leisure and the first thing that came to mind for connecting several separate devices to a computer was a USB RS-485 interface converter. Usually, they are based on two microcircuits:
1. USB to TTL
converter 2. TTL to RS-485
converter FT232 is used as the first in 95% of cases, but I didn’t ask in which store, everywhere they answer like one that they have not been brought for a long time. As a second MAX485, also a rare beast, I don’t want to order via the Internet, and the fact that they haven’t been sold for a long time doesn’t warm my soul, the old ones mean ..
But before I start, I want to know the modern microcircuits of both converters?
