What causes disk write/read error k3b ubuntu 14.04?

Good evening.
Recently, problems with burning dvd discs in k3b (Version 2.0.2).
As soon as I insert the disc into the drive, the message appears:

Starts writing the disc, but the recording ends with an error:
[mkisofs] 37.34% done, estimate finish Sat Nov 12 19:49:51 2016
[growisofs] :-[ [email protected]=1767e0h failed with SK =3h/WRITE ERROR]: Input/output error
[growisofs] :-( write failed: Input/output error
What could be the reason?

Disk is defective. Actually, normal disks have not been made for a long time, one slag now.
