What can you think of?

Bought (in store) a 2017 laptop with FreeDOS preinstalled.
Drivers for the touchpad on off. The site is only available for Windows 10, but I would very much like to use Windows 8.1, but with a touch.
What can be done? Maybe there are some driver generators.

What can be done?
Find drivers. Usually they are on the website of the laptop manufacturer.
If they are not there, everything is more difficult.
But you can see what kind of touchpad, and look for drivers specifically for this touchpad from the touchpad manufacturer, or from other manufacturers that use this particular touchpad in their products.
If this fails, write yourself.
Maybe there are some driver generators.
Yes, they are also called programmers. Look for freelance exchanges.

api driver from 8.1 to 10 has not changed much often firewood is suitable. but there are dances with signatures.
try to slip the driver from 10 with driver signature verification disabled.
the option is correct but usually meaningless - kick the manufacturer to lay out firewood under 8.1
