What can cause problems with connecting a second monitor?
After migrating the OS to an SSD using Samsung software, there are problems connecting 2 monitors.
After turning on the PC and loading the OS, only 1 monitor connected to HDMI turns on, the one connected via DVI in power saving mode. After restarting PC 2, the monitor is connected.
The monitor may also turn off when going to sleep, restarting the PC also helps.
Detection of 2 monitors in the screen parameters does not help, the monitor is not connected.
Once I decided to try to reinstall the video card driver during the problem, the monitor connected during the reinstallation process, but the problem was not solved. The problem with the monitor remained
Before the migration of the system, there were no problems with the 2nd monitor and the detection worked.
When I did the system transfer, I had to edit the registry settings so that the AHCI mode worked. Because The OS was running in IDE mode.
How can I solve the problem without reinstalling the OS and is it justified to reinstall it?
