What can be below the physical layer of a computer architecture?
Here's the full question - "Can you imagine a multi-level computer where the
physical device level and the digital logic level are not the lowest
levels?". I can't imagine, can you? Interesting. I am weak in physics.

here I think the question is given with an emphasis on virtual machines and all that.
in virtual machines "below" the virtual physical devices are the layers of the virtual machine and the host computer.
I guess this is the seed for the next lecture. about virtual machines or something else.
but it all depends on the context of the question.
it can also be said that “below” the “physical” level of the circuit is the board and the case, which keeps the entire entoth vinaigrette of elements in the strict order necessary for the device to work. etc. etc.
and if in the evening, and under vodka, you spill your thoughts on the tree, then you can not philosophize like that ...
Below the physical level, there can be nothing but the holy spirit.
Except for any elementary particles at a lower level.
