What can and how to back up on a new laptop with Windows 10?

What can and how to back up on a new laptop with Windows 10?
I'm thinking of buying a cheap laptop with a 32 GB SSD, a cloud coupon and an office.
How to activate it correctly in order to make a backup later.
And then I will lose my license for Windows and especially for the office.
I want to play around with Linux
Then return it to its place so that there is a face on Windows, office and cloud.
They say you need to activate the office immediately.
How to back up a license?

Use Clonzilla, at the same time you will try Linux without a graphical shell at work, the command line and kakir commands, that's all.

This is done like this (and regardless of the version of Windows):
1. We start, activate, configure Windu.
2. If there is a second (user) partition of the disk, transfer the swap, all temporary storages and the "My Documents" folder to it, and also empty the Recycle Bin. This is necessary to minimize the size of a future system partition backup, as well as the time it takes to make it.
3. Install all custom software and configure it.
4. We make sure that everything works OK.
5. Using Norton Ghost, Acronis TI or something similar, we remove an image from the system partition, which we must save on third-party media. If you store this backup on another partition of the same disk, then you have to bite your elbows when this disk dies, such a backup does not make sense.
6. If the Windows distribution was stored on a separate (hidden) partition, then after the steps described above this partition becomes unnecessary, it can be deleted, and the freed space attached to the nearest user partition.

Nothing needs to be backed up - the laptop will have a hidden partition from which you can restore it to its factory state.
And Linux can be installed in dualboot.
