What can a person who knows physics and programming in the film industry do?

Now I'm still young and just on the path to choose a specific path to develop my skills in the technical sciences and I thought about the fact that I have always been very interested in making films from a technical point of view. What are the professions in this area that require knowledge of programming (maybe physics, modeling, geometry, etc., etc.). Of the obvious ones, the only ones that come to my mind are people who do CGI graphics, but I'm not entirely sure that this is mine.
For you to understand, I mean fantastic action movies ala MARVEL.
