Is it worth going to the front in the state. organization?
Hello everyone, I would like advice from old-timers and experienced programmers.
The bottom line - I've been working in the studio for 2 years, I decided to take a step up and jump from CMS to JS frameworks. I work in a small town - 300 tons of population not far from Samara, so the IT is not Moscow. There are 3 months left, ideally I would like to jump remotely (but I understand that it will be either very difficult for Jun or impossible). But there is a reserve of knowledge (React, Vue, State managers, a node at the level to collect a small back for mongo or postgres. I know how to typeset very well, from landing pages to shops with complex animations (fortunately in the studio there was a lot of this)
To the point: now an offer was received to go to the front in the state office, which manages the regional IT, according to the salary, the exit to the same one, their stack is quite progressive - on the front, it is a reaction, it is on the back.
Give advice, does it make sense to go to such an office (let's say you work for a year or two, and then jump with an already deleted middle)? What pitfalls can be? What questions should you ask a potential employer, what should you pay attention to? How much I sit on the toaster, all budgetary organizations are pouring slop, and there was a double impression of all this.

Never go to government organizations. Any state organization kills everything it touches, since it has no incentive for anything of high quality (apart from kicks from above). Always prefer private to public - work, services, goods.
It is better to find a June vacancy in some startup or studio - there are young guys, motivation, and modern management.
The state organization of the state organization is different. Gazprom is state and city municipality is state, and working conditions are very different. Pouring slops are either those who only happened to change cartridges in the municipality, or stupid children with idealistic revolutionary ideas.
Go of course. This is a new experience. For freelancing, it will be useful to work with the bureaucracy.
Well, if there is no choice, what is the point of asking
? Obviously, you need to go to Moscow from the right decisions .
Go if you're interested. In any case, if you don’t like it, you can quit and find something more interesting.
I see no reason to go another two years.
You will be middle for 4 years.
In general, it makes sense to move to another job if the salary grows, IMHO
